 | The following is a 'before' and 'after' example of a typical fax document in Word, using LookMeUp! |
|
 | In this example, we assume that you have a contact in your Contacts
folder called 'Joe Pizza' and that you don't know anyone else with the surname 'Pizza'. It
also assumes that you type 'Pizza' (for convenience next to 'To:' in the example document)
and that you use either of the following two methods to get LookMeUp! to look up Mr Pizza and insert his
details: |
|
- You can either just type 'Pizza'
and then click the 'Find Me!' button on the LookMeUp!
toolbar in Word, (or type 'Alt M' for the keyboard shortcut)
.....OR.....
|
- You can use the keyboard-oriented 'DocScan'
technique which involves you typing 'F::Pizza::' instead of just typing 'Pizza' - this method will set LookMeUp!
off to search for Mr. Pizza without you having to lift your fingers
from the keyboard (by the way the DocScan start and end keys - 'F::' and '::'
are the default but you can change these to anything you feel most comfortable with)
|
 | Either way, the 'before' document would normally
turn into the 'after' document in 2
seconds or less.... |
|
| BEFORE: |
 |
| AFTER: (Notice
optional inclusion of Job Title, Company Name, and First Name info)... |
